Lincoln Gap

One of the best places in Vermont for sledding is the Lincoln Gap, right here in the Mad River Valley.  Its a steep, paved road that closes all winter long. In other words, its a smooth, steep and long run, loaded with snow!  And because its a switchback, you can sled down through the woods if you're feeling ambitious.

There is also the Long Trail from the top, if you still have energy for more hiking! The run starting from the Long Trail is epic, and where many clips in our official videos are from.  Meanwhile, here is a fan video posted to our facebook page. EPIC. We will contact them about using some of their footage.

Here is one of the best videos we've ever seen!  These are early morning sledders taking Snowbird, in Little Cottonwood Canyon before the lifts open, and it looks fun.
